These are primal wounds we are healing. Ancient, core beliefs don’t die easily. Allow yourself to sit with whatever needs your love right now. This isn’t about anything other than the present moment and what it holds for you. Let yourself cry, shout, scream, & laugh. Feel it all as deeply as you need to, but know that it’s time to let it go. Don’t attach or cling. Just open your fingers and let it go. Allow it to evaporate. It’s time to give up the ghost.
9.9.9 (2016 reduces to 9) is what the guides have been referring to as The Day of Completion. We are approaching the 9th day of the 9th month in a 9 year. Then again on the 18th (1+8=9) and the 27th (2+7=9) we have additional opportunities to reach deeper levels of integrity within our self. It’s a multilayered, multidimensional, multifaceted, journey through self that we have been on for the past 9 years. The energies that are present have no agenda other than the illumination of truth. They don’t pick sides and there is no right or wrong. There is only truth.
Think back 9 years ago to 2007. Where were you and what were you about to embark on as the 1 year of 2008 dawned? Personally, I was about to once again start running from my life. I had started my spiritual path after a mind blowing experience in 2005, but I wasn’t ready to commit. I still believed that my answers, my joy, my clarity, was somewhere outside of me. I wasn’t ready or willing to face the truth of who I was and the choices I had made. I certainly wasn’t ready to say yes to the path that was calling me forward. So I ran. I moved to San Francisco and tried to pretend that what I used to want was what I still wanted. I tried like hell to resurrect a life that had long since ceased to be satisfying. I was way too frightened to accept that it was time for a change. A BIG change.
So, Source lovingly allowed me to choose one more turn on the merry-go-round of denial and self delusion. Finally in 2012 I was once again faced with a big decision. This time I said yes and the next 4 years completely destroyed any illusions I had of who I thought I was. It smashed all that was not built of Love. And trust me when I tell you that there was a LOT that was not built of Love. Once I had surrendered to the path of service to others, I had to be willing to surrender ALL of it in order to receive what was rightfully mine; the life that I really came to live. A life of joy and satisfaction and fulfillment that far outshone anything I had experienced previously. This marks the end of that cycle. The end of denying my divinity and my sovereignty.
Was it easy? HELL. NO.
Was it worth it? Absolutely and I would do it all over again if I had to.
Whatever it is that has been coming up for you (especially since the end of August) is ready to go. It’s not showing up again to de-rail you, it’s showing up so that you can finally let it go. It’s not sustainable anymore. So why do you still insist on clinging to it? The old stuff is lopsided, clunky, and threadbare. Let it die. Any attempt to continue to deny the truth feels like suffocation and claustrophobia. The distortion has served its purpose and now clarity is coming into focus.
Look around at the world stage. Old paradigms are imploding left and right. Anything that is less than Love has to go. It simply will not stand. It can no longer be repressed, suppressed or oppressed. It will always find a way out. The laws of man can easily be manipulated and changed, but the law of the Universe is immovable. The illumination of truth in our lives immediately throws a spotlight on what isn’t true for us now. It’s too painful and too dense to do things any other way. As the frequencies rise, we are purified and clarified.
Of course there is always a choice. But can you really choose to go back to the old way? Once the light is turned on, you can’t turn it off.
Trust me, I know how scary it seems. The mind grasps and clutches out in search of anything to comfort itself. To numb, to blur, to soften. It panics in the absence of a story or a script. The unknown is death for the limited self and it will try every thing it can to convince us to stay safe in the cave. Even if it means staying where we are not thriving. The mind is not concerned with the quality of our experience. It only cares that the experience is predictable, knowable and controllable. Whether or not we are actually happy is ultimately irrelevant to the mind. At this stage in the game any promise that the mind will make is a lie. It is empty and void of value. You’ve been down that road before and look where it’s brought you. Right back to the beginning.
We can’t stay rooted in the past and simultaneously claim the future. It’s time to make a choice. It’s time to decide. Are you going to say yes to the life that is calling you forth? Or are you going to settle for what is broken and decayed?
So as we stand on the edge of completion, I ask you once again. What is it time to let go of? What is coming forth within you asking for release? The old self is fading and taking her final breaths. Are you willing to let her go? The former self has reached a dead end. Are you going to grant him peace? Everything that you desire is on the other side of your willingness to surrender what is finished. Only you know what truth feels like for you, and only you can choose it for yourself.
